Nick and the team at Visique are the best at what they do. I have been going to them for both my sunglasses and regular glasses for years and they are always so helpful. It was such a lovely surprise a few weeks ago when a courier turned up with a lovely thank you card and gift from them. I enjoyed my gourmet tea and chocolates this weekend. I would not hesitate to recommend Visique High Street to anyone needing new glasses.... See MoreSee Less

What’s That Eye Gunk You Wake Up With?
Yes, we’re talking about the (usually) white-ish gunk you find in the corners of your eyes when you wake up in the morning.

Sleep crust is made up of a mix of mucus, exfoliated skin cells, oils and tears produced or shed by the eye during sleep. Gravity makes the crust collect in the corners of the eye during sleep. It’s a natural part of healthy eye function. During the day, the materials are washed away by blinking and tear production — keeping it from gathering in the corners of the eye.
